JNVST Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Entrance Test | JNVST Results 2017


JNVST – Jawahar Navodaya Vidyala Selection Test schools started by central government in all states and union territories for quality education. Over years 3 lak students in 1200 Jawahar Navodaya schools are admitted into 6th standard, 8th standard, plus One or Intermediate. Navodaya Vidyalaya samithi will administer admissions, entrance test, exam notification and running.

This schools was an unique scheme to bring under poverty children with fine education. All resources for student is provided by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyala Samithi itself. For getting admission into Navodaya school students must be completing or joining 6th class, 8th class or Matriculation.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Select Test (JNVST) 2017 admission notification:

Navodaya Entrance test notification is released in mid march of every year. Then application registration procedure will continue throughout May. After closing date of application students will intimated entrance exam dates. On that particular date students will attend the exam centers for cracking question paper.

Exam pattern of JNVST :

Examination question paper is based on syllabus of previous year of applicant study. Exam is conducted in 21 languages that cover all Indian languages. The exam paper is conducted for 100 marks or 100 %. These comprise of Mental Ability, Arithmetic, Language.

Entrance exam test is conducted in three periods briefly. First is Summer bound JNV, Winter Bound JNV, Extreme Winter Bound JNV’S. All these total schools were around to be 585 in number. Some states like Chandigarh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir  etc for 2015-2016.

Eligibility for JNVST Jawahar Navodaya Selection Test 2017 – 2018 6th class admissions:

Students appearing to Navodaya Selection test must be studying in government schools or recognized schools. Students age limit is 14 to 16 years maximum before July 1st 2017.  Students have to select English or Hindi medium for admission.

JNVST Class IX or 9th standard entrance test:

Admission seeking students need to apply in online at their concerned school. Entrance test question paper will be made with English, Hindi, Maths, Science. Total marks held is 100. Examination center is JNV School at their concerned district. Reservation for students is scheduled as per government of India order.

Navodaya Entrance test for Class XI or Intermediate exam:

Students age must between 14 to 18 years as on June 2017. They must be minimum scoring at least 80% in Matriculation exam. He or she must be from government recognized or CBSE affiliated schools for their matriculation exam. Admissions are done as per merit list prepared based on exam marks secured by student. There were only limited number of seats available for admissions.
